Las Palmas Circle
About LPC
The Las Palmas Circle was established to support students and families with diverse economic backgrounds. Some families might be facing housing insecurity, financial challenges or other obstacles, which can impact students in profound ways. Our goal is to create a network of support that helps our students thrive, both emotionally and academically. To do this, we work directly with our Las Palmas Community Services Liaison and with support from Las Palmas staff and leadership to surface the highest needs being observed among students. Programming is then developed around those needs. Currently, active programs include the back to school shoe drive, Holiday adopt a family, uniform exchange, science camp drive, food assistance, and ongoing needs. Each program has a lead who drives implementation each year. The work of the Las Palmas Circle centers around creating a sense of care, community, and an environment where all of the students can thrive.
