This week’s happenings!

Monday, June 2

• Final Morning Assembly & 5th Grade Clap Out: Join us as we kick off the week by celebrating our amazing year together and cheering on our 5th graders as they prepare for their next chapter in middle school.
   

• Annual Las Palmas Staff vs. 5th Grade Students Dodgeball Game: A fun and friendly tradition that always brings smiles and school spirit!

Lunes 2 de junio

• Asamblea final de la mañana y despedida de 5.º grado: Comenzamos la semana celebrando nuestro maravilloso año juntos y despidiendo con cariño a nuestros estudiantes de 5.º grado mientras se preparan para la escuela intermedia.
   

• Partido anual de Dodgeball: personal de Las Palmas vs. estudiantes de 5.º grado ¡Una tradición divertida que siempre despierta muchas sonrisas y espíritu escolar!

Tuesday, June 3

• Kindergarten Concert Celebration – MPR (9:45–10:35 AM): Families of students in Ms. Delgado, Ms. Nieto, and Ms. Ruiz’s classes are invited to attend this joyful performance and celebration of learning.
   

• Meet the New Principal Visits: Principal Becerra and Dr. Barrosa will visit all classrooms to introduce our students to their incoming principal.
   

Martes 3 de junio

• Concierto de Kindergarten – MPR (9:45–10:35 a.m.): Están cordialmente invitadas las familias de los estudiantes de las clases de las maestras Delgado, Nieto y Ruiz.
   

• Visita del nuevo director a las clases: El director Becerra y la Dra. Barrosa visitarán todos los salones para presentarles a los estudiantes a su nueva directora.
   

Wednesday, June 4

• Kindergarten Concert Celebration – MPR (8:00–9:20 AM): Families of students in Ms. Sturtz and Ms. Aguirre’s classes are invited to attend and celebrate our year of learning and growth.
   

• 5th Grade Field Day (8:00–11:00 AM): A morning of fun and outdoor games for our 5th graders!
   

• Menchie's Meet & Eat (12:00–9:00 PM): Join our school community for a sweet treat and help support Las Palmas.

• Concierto de Kindergarten – MPR (8:00–9:20 a.m.): Están cordialmente invitadas las familias de los estudiantes de las clases de las maestras Sturtz y Aguirre.
   

• Día de juegos para 5.º grado (8:00–11:00 a.m.): ¡Una mañana llena de diversión al aire libre para nuestros estudiantes de 5.º grado!
   

• Menchie’s Meet & Eat (12:00–9:00 p.m.): Únanse a nuestra comunidad escolar para disfrutar de un delicioso postre y apoyar a Las Palmas.
   

Thursday, June 5 – Last Day of School

• Final Day of School - Special Dismissal Schedule

  Our final day of school is Thursday, June 5. We have a special dismissal schedule for the last day of school. 

  • Preschool - regular schedule

  • TK (Early Piper & Late Piper): 8:15 - 11:50 AM

  • Kindergarten: 8:00 - 11:25 AM

  • GRS 1-5: 8:00 - 11:35 AM
     

• 5th Grade Celebration – Kindergarten Playground (10:00–11:00 AM): 5th grade families are warmly invited to join us for our final celebration as we recognize our promoting students and reflect on our time together. Entry and Exit is through the kindergarten gate.
   

• PTA Family Fun Night at Gibroni’s: Wrap up the school year with food, friends, and fun hosted by our amazing PTA!

• Último Día de Clases – Horario Especial de Salida

  Nuestro último día de clases es el jueves 5 de junio. Tendremos un horario especial de salida para ese día.

  • Preescolar: horario regular

  • TK (Early Piper y Late Piper): 8:15 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.

  • Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.

  • Grados 1.º a 5.º: 8:00 a.m. – 11:35 a.m.
     

• Celebración de 5.º grado – Patio de Kinder (10:00–11:00 a.m.): Invitamos con mucho gusto a las familias de 5.º grado a unirse a nuestra última celebración escolar del año.
   

• Noche de Diversión Familiar organizada por la PTA en Gibroni’s: ¡Terminemos el año escolar con comida, diversión y comunidad!
